A candle-lighting ceremony was organized at Hon Dung Martyrs’ Cemetery on July 26 by Khanh Hoa Provincial Youth Union’s Standing Committee to pay tribute to heroic martyrs on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day (July 27, 1947-2025).

Present at the event were Ho Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Tran Hoa Nam, Vice-Chairman of Provincial People’s Committee; Heroic Vietnamese mother Le Thi Minh Thuy, Hero of the People's Armed Forces Le Thi Minh Hanh; leaders of departments, agencies, localities and more than 650 Youth Union members, youth and students.
At the ceremony, delegates, Youth Union members and youth offered flowers, incense and observed a minute of silence to commemorate the heroic martyrs; lit candles and burnt incense at the martyrs' graves, expressing gratitude and pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who sacrificed in the cause of national liberation and reunification.

On behalf of the provincial youth union members, Huynh Huu Phuc, Vice Chairman of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union promised that Khanh Hoa youth will continue promoting the revolutionary tradition; making efforts in study and work, contributing to the development of Khanh Hoa Province to become a centrally-governed city, a high growth pole of the whole country where people enjoy peaceful, happy and high-quality lives.
On this occasion, the Provincial Youth Union presented 20 gifts, each worth more than VND1 million to Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, Heroes of the People's Armed Forces, war invalids, sick soldiers, former youth volunteers and revolutionaries in the province.
