4 endangered fauna individuals released into wild

Hon Ba Nature Reserve Management has just coordinated with Nha Trang - Dien Khanh Forest Protection Unit, Cam Lam - Cam Ranh Forest Protection Unit to release 4 animals of endangered and critically endangered species listed in the Red Book of Endangered Species in Vietnam and in the world into the wild.

Manis javanica released into the wild.

Specifically, 2 Nycticebus pygmaeus, 1 Manis javanica and 1 Python reticulatus individuals voluntarily handed over by local people were released by the authorities into the natural habitat in the ecological restoration subdivision of Hon Ba Nature Reserve.

Hon Ba Nature Reserve is rich in biodiversity of flora and fauna with 1.445 species of flora, including 209 listed in the Red Book of Endangered Species in Vietnam and in the world; and 89 animals of rare and endangered species.
