More than 11,000 in Khanh Hoa join national walking journey “Moving Forward with Vietnam”

On August 16, Nhan Dan Newspaper and the Ministry of Public Security launched the national walking campaign titled “Moving Forward with Vietnam” on the occasion of the 80th anniversaries of the August Revolution (August 19, 1945–2025), National Day (September 2, 1945–2025), and the Traditional Day of the People’s Public Security Force (August 19, 1945–2025).

The event was hosted in Hon Kiem Lake area in Hanoi and virtually connected to 34 cities and provinces with more than 3,300 communes, wards and special zones nationwide. Present at 2-4 Square in Khanh Hoa, Nha Trang Ward in Khanh Hoa Province was Ho Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, together with leaders of the Provincial Public Security, departments, agencies and nearly 1,500 people participating in the journey titled “Moving Forward with Vietnam”. Besides, nearly 10,000 people from the armed forces, students and residents in communes, wards and a special zone in Khanh Hoa joined the walking event.

With the message “One billion steps into the new era”, the program is more than just a sports initiative responding to the campaign “All People Exercise Following the Great Example of Uncle Ho” and the campaign “Be Healthy to Build and Defend the Fatherland”. It is a journey connecting millions of hearts towards the goal of building a strong, united and sustainable Vietnam.
