National environmental protection campaign launched

Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Party Committee has just issued a directive to the Provincial Party Committee of the Provincial People’s Committee, the Provincial Party Committee of Provincial Party Agencies; Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television; and the Party Committees of communes and wards to urgently and effectively implement the Prime Minister's instructions stated in Official Dispatch No. 134 on promoting the widespread environmental protection campaign in the lead-up to the 80th anniversary of National Day (September 2, 1945 - 2025).

In Official Dispatch No. 134, the Prime Minister requested Chairmen of People's Committees of provinces and centrally-run cities to urgently launch the widespread environmental protection campaign, raise public awareness of environmental protection responsibility; mobilize local socio-political organizations to organize, supervise and implement the campaign in residential areas and public areas; ensure the availability of appropriate waste transportation and collection in residential areas, markets, bus stations, schools, entertainment areas, especially venues hosting anniversary events; direct competent authorities to intensify inspection and supervision efforts, and strictly enforce environmental protection regulations.

Central and local news agencies were instructed to promote propaganda about environmental protection to mark the 80th anniversary of National Day, aiming to create a widespread impact and inspire everyone to join the environmental protection efforts.
