1st Congress of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term 2025 - 2030, preparatory session opens

The Preparatory Session of the 1st Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, opened at the Provincial Children's Cultural Palace (West Nha Trang Ward) on the morning of September 21, with the participation of 396 official delegates representing over 74,000 Communist Party members in the province.

The Preparatory Session is presided over by Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Duc Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Toan, Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and Ho Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee.

The congress has deployed the "Party Congress Solution App" on mobile devices to record delegate attendance at working sessions to promote the application of information technology and digital transformation, and enhance the efficiency of the event organization and services. All official documents of the congress are provided on the app via QR code, contributing to a more efficient and streamlined working environment for this significant political event of the Provincial Party Committee.

This initiative also clearly reflects the province’s commitment to implementing Resolution No. 57, dated December 22, 2024 by the Politburo, on strategic breakthroughs in science and technology development, innovation, and national digital transformation.

At the preparatory session, the congress unanimously elected the Congress Presidium with 11 members the Congress Secretariat with 3 members and the Delegate Qualifications Review Committee with 5 members. The congress also discussed and approved the congress agenda, working regulations and delegation guidelines; implemented some tasks in preparation for the official session; approved and 10 delegates’ groups and discussion locations.

On the same afternoon, the delegations will convene to discuss in groups the congress documents and draft documents of the 14th Party Congress.
