Meeting and exchange on 50th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Germany

On September 23, Khanh Hoa Provincial Union of Friendship Organizations held a meeting and exchange program on the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of Vietnam - Germany diplomatic relations (September 23, 1975 - 2025) and the 1st Khanh Hoa Provincial Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

In 1957, President Ho Chi Minh visited Germany, marking an important milestone, laying the foundation for a deep friendship between the two countries. After the liberation of Southern Vietnam and National Reunification, Vietnam and Germany officially established diplomatic relations on September 23, 1975. Based on mutual understanding, trust and respect, the political and diplomatic relationship between Vietnam and Germany has flourished over the past 50 years with 14 years of strategic partnership.

Vietnam and Germany Friendship Association was established in Khanh Hoa Province 11 years ago and currently has more than 60 members who are Vietnamese people who have lived, studied and worked in Germany. The association has organized numerous meaningful activities, especially during the Covid 19 pandemic, mobilizing support for foreigners living and working in Khanh Hoa, showing humanitarian values, solidarity and responsibility of people in Khanh Hoa Province towards the international community.
