Nguyen Khac Toan appointed Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, term 2021 – 2026

The 7th Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council, term 2021 - 2026, held the 2nd session on September 16 to carry out personnel appointments and address other key matters within its jurisdiction.

Present at the event were Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Khac Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Provincial People’s Council; Nguyen Tan Tuan, former Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; members of Provincial Permanent Party Committee, former Provincial Permanent Party Committee, representatives of Provincial People’s Council; Permanent Committee of the Provincial People's Council, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province.

At the session, Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Council approved the dismissal of Tran Quoc Nam, former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation for the 2021–2026 term, following his personal request effective from September 12, 2025. The Council also relieved Nguyen Khac Toan, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Council (7th term, 2021–2026), from his current role to appoint him as Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for the 2021–2026 term, with unanimous approval (100% of votes).

Nguyen Khac Toan, born on April 19, 1970, of Kinh ethnicity and a native of East Ninh Hoa Ward, Khanh Hoa Province, holds Bachelor's degrees in Judicial Law and Party Building & State Administration with advanced political theory credentials.

Also at the meeting, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nghiem Xuan Thanh presented the Prime Minister's decision approving the election result for the position of Vice-Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee for the 2021-2026 term for Le Huyen.
