Work begins on S.I.S Nha Trang International General Hospital

The groundbreaking ceremony for S.I.S Nha Trang International General Hospital project was kicked off on September 19 by the joint venture of S.I.S Nha Trang Hospital Joint Stock Company and Viet Cuong Medical Investment Joint Stock Company. This is a specialized stroke treatment project in the Southern Central region to mark the 1st Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030.

Present at the event were Ho Xuan Truong, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Nguyen Tan Tuan, former Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; Nguyen Long Bien, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Party Committee, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Luong Duc Hai, Member of Khanh Hoa Provincial Standing Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Commission; Le Huu Tri, Deputy Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation; and Dinh Van Thieu, former Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee. Pursuant to Decision No. 1897 dated June 30 of the Provincial People's Committee, S.I.S Nha Trang International General Hospital is located on an area of 20,023m2 in My Gia Urban Area (South Nha Trang Ward) with 200 beds, a total investment of about VND400 billion; it is planned to expand to 300-500 beds with a total investment of VND1,000 billion.

S.I.S Nha Trang International General Hospital aims to provide modern, specialized medical services for stroke, making services more readily available or convenient for patients. Upon commencement of operation, the hospital will not only help protect health, improve medical care and treatment but also ease the burden on higher-level health facilities; contributing to the implementation of Resolution No. 72 of the Politburo on breakthrough strategies to strengthen the public health care and Resolution No. 09 by the Politburo on construction and development of Khanh Hoa Province to 2030 vision to 2045.
