The investor of the Saltwater Intrusion Prevention Dam project over the Cai River in Nha Trang is urging contractors to urgently mobilize machinery and equipment and accelerate construction to complete the project by the end of the year.

Progress accelerated

The construction site of the saltwater intrusion prevention dam on the Cai River in Nha Trang is bustling with activity around the clock. Workers and engineers are fully committed to accelerating progress while ensuring top quality and absolute safety for this key infrastructure project.

Nguyen Thanh Hien, Director of the Provincial Project Management Board (the project's investor), said, "Although land clearance for the project began in 2019, it was interrupted due to the Covid-19 pandemic. With the determination of the relevant agencies, all land clearance work for the project was completed and the land was handed over to the contractor for the construction by June 2025. With all challenges resolved, the project is now entering its final phase."
