Doan Thanh Tung finishes 2nd in 2025 Road to Olympia final

After four rounds of the 2025 Road to Olympia final held on the morning of October 26, Doan Thanh Tung, a 12th-grade biology student from Le Quy Don High School for the Gifted in Nha Trang, Khanh Hoa Province, finished as the runner-up.

The contestants participated in four rounds: Warm-up, Obstacle, Acceleration and Finish. With his broad knowledge and confidence, Thanh Tung scored 30 points in the Warm-up round and then took the lead in both the Obstacle and Acceleration rounds.

After the final round, contestant Tran Bui Bao Khanh (Hanoi - Amsterdam High School for the Gifted, Hanoi) finished first with 215 points; Thanh Tung came in second with 210 points. The two contestants in third place were Le Quang Duy Khoa (Hue National High School for the Gifted, Hue City) and Nguyen Nhut Lam (Cai Be High School, Dong Thap Province) with 180 and 205 points, respectively.
