The International Conference 2025 “Ocean Futures: Smart technologies and Sustainable Coastal Living” was held on October 1 by Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics (UEH) in collaboration with Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee and domestic and international partners.

Present tat the event were Le Huyen, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Prof., PhD. Nguyen Dong Phong, Chairman of UEH Council; Prof., PhD. Su Dinh Thanh, Director of UEH; nearly 100 scientists, experts and scholars from the U.S.A, Korea, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and representatives of local departments and sectors.
The event featured nearly 30 presentations by scientists, experts and scholars on ocean technology in the green economic ecosystem; health, prosperity and the connection between urban landscape and community; innovation co-creation for a sustainable green economy.

The conference also included a discussion session covering 4 topics, namely ocean technology in the green economic ecosystem; health, prosperity and the connection between urban landscape and community; innovation co-creation for a sustainable green economy; smart technology and sustainable coastal living, which served as a platform for proposing solutions for sustainable marine economic development in the context of globalization.
Within the framework of the conference, UEH organized a signing ceremony with Khanh Hoa Newspaper, Radio and Television; Amanoi, Six Senses Ninh Van Bay and the Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Foreign Trade of Vietnam to foster cooperation, training and communication of human resource development policies.
