Khanh Hoa donates VND1b in storm relief to Thai Nguyen

On October 12, Ho Xuan Truong, Permanent Deputy Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee and representatives of the Provincial Standing Party Committee paid a visit and donated VND1 billion in support of the people of Thai Nguyen Province to recover from the storm Bualoi and the remnants of storm Matmo.

Receiving the delegation and support from Khanh Hoa province were Pham Hoang Son, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen Province; Vu Duy Hoang, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Permanent Vice-Chairman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, along with leaders of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and related departments and agencies.

The VND1 billion aid reflected the heartfelt support of the Party Committee, government, and people of Khanh Hoa Province, extended to Thai Nguyen with the hope of helping the locality swiftly recover from the natural disaster.

Reportedly, Khanh Hoa has allocated VND5b relief in the 1st phase to help storm-stricken provinces, including VND4 billion for Quang Tri, Ninh Binh, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Tuyen Quang, Lang Son, Cao Bang, Son La (each province VND500 million); and VND1 billion from the Province Relief Fund to help Thai Nguyen Province, which was severely affected by the storm Bualoi.
