Khanh Hoa residents donate nearly VND4.4b in support of Cuban people

After 65 days of launching the campaign to support the Cuban people on the occasion of the 65th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and Cuba, Khanh Hoa residents have donated nearly VND 4.4 billion in total in support of the Cuban people. This amount was transferred by the Provincial Red Cross Society to the Central Vietnam Red Cross to promptly aid the Cuban people, according to Duong Dang Khanh, Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross.

The Vietnam Red Cross Society has raised VND555.8 billion from 2 million donations until 8 p.m. October 16, the last day of the campaign "65 years of Vietnam-Cuba friendship" to support the Cuban people overcome difficulties and demonstrate the Vietnamese people’s solidarity and loyalty. 

In Khanh Hoa Province, 1,642 donations from local agencies, businesses, residents and students have been made, demonstrating a profound spirit of solidarity and humanity, contributing to helping Cuban people.
