V-Green Company proposes investing in electric vehicle charging and battery changing stations

Khanh Hoa Provincial People's Committee has just issued a document assigning the Department of Construction to preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies and localities to handle the proposal of V-Green Global Charging Station Development Joint Stock Company (V-Green Company) on the plan to develop a network of electric vehicle charging stations sand battery swapping cabinets for VinFast electric motorbikes in public locations in the province.

According to the proposal sent to the Provincial People's Committee, V-Green Company proposed developing a plan to renovate and build bus shelters, including building new ones and renovating the existing shelters into a modern bus shelter complex with such amenities as electric car charging stations and electric motorbike battery swapping cabinets together with digital LED map display, phone chargers and Wi-Fi.

The investment is funded entirely by community contributions without reliance on the State budget. Vingroup/Vinhomes will serve as the construction contractor and the Provincial Traffic Management and Operation Center will supervise the implementation process.
