On November 19, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung directed a working group to inspect and direct the flood relief operations in Dien Dien Commune. Due to the rapid rise of the Cai Nha Trang River connecting with the flood discharge of Am Chua Lake, at 6:00 a.m. on November 19, Dien Commune was flooded over 80% of the area, with a depth of 1 to 1.5 m. The commune People's Committee has mobilized the evacuation of 68 households with 179 people in low-lying areas to safety. Currently, many households remain heavily inundated, and evacuation efforts are still underway.

After the inspection, Deputy Prime Minister Ho Quoc Dung proposed that local authorities increase human resources and convenient means to move all households in dangerous areas to safety; regularly monitor the flooding situation; support people in deeply inundated areas to ensure their safety; and develop contingency plans in case of continued high water supply. The Deputy Prime Minister also requested local authorities to ensure adequate supplies of food, essential provisions, and medicines for residents throughout the period of heavy rain and flooding.
