Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Standing Committee directs proactive flood response

On November 17, the Standing Committee of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee sent an official dispatch to Party Committees under the Provincial Party Committee on proactive flood response.

The Provincial Party Standing Committee requested Party committees and Party organizations in the province to focus on directing and implementing the instructions of the National Civil Defense Steering Committee in Official Dispatch No. 31 dated November 14, 2025 and the instructions of the Provincial People's Committee to proactively respond to heavy rains, floods, inundation, flash floods and landslides.

Authorities are trying to clear the landslide on Khanh Le Pass.

Specifically, local authorities are to arrange guards and control the movement of people and vehicles in areas at risk of deep flooding and landslides; deploy forces and vehicles in key locations to promptly conduct rescue operations, evacuate residents to safe areas, and provide food and essential supplies at evacuation sites; and regulate traffic to ensure smooth circulation on major routes during heavy rainfall. Localities must also closely coordinate with relevant agencies and functional units, mobilize all available resources, and urgently organize search and rescue efforts while addressing the consequences of landslides at Khanh Son and Khanh Le passes, etc.
