Khanh Hoa Red Cross donates VND18m to landslide victims

On November 17, leaders of the Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross visited 18 landslide victims being treated at Khanh Hoa General Hospital. The leaders of the Provincial Red Cross extended their encouragement to patients and gave them VND 1 million each to partially support them during their treatment at the hospital.

Earlier, at around 6:00 p.m. on November 16, at Tuong Vy stream area on Khanh Son Pass (Provincial Road 9) in Cam An Commune, a serious landslide occurred, burying 3 people and injuring 7 others. Later that night, at 10:30 p.m., another landslide struck Khanh Le Pass, hitting a tour bus with rocks and soil, severely damaging the vehicle, killing six passengers, and injuring 19 others.

Following the incidents, Khanh Hoa General Hospital urgently mobilized maximum human and material resources to provide timely first aid and treatment. At present, all patients being treated at the hospital are reported to be in stable condition.
