Provincial leader inspects flooding response and relief

On November 19, Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, inspected the flooding response and relief in the southern region of Khanh Hoa Province. Trinh Minh Hoang, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Thanh Ha, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee and leaders of a number of departments and agencies also joined the delegation.

Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh and members of the delegation inspected the flooded areas in Ba Ngoi Ward and Nuoc Ngot Lake in Vinh Hai Commune. At the severely inundated area between Hoa Binh Residential Group and Hoa An Residential Group (Ba Ngoi Ward), Nghiem Xuan Thanh instructed local authorities to work closely with police and military forces to ensure the prompt evacuation of households to safe locations; ensure sufficient food supplies for affected people while safeguarding the health and safety of the forces carrying out relief operations.

Local authorities have deployed teams to maintain round-the-clock operations, with the goal of ensuring the absolute safety of residents during this prolonged flooding event.
