Provincial Party Secretary Nghiem Xuan Thanh visits landslide victims

On November 18, Nghiem Xuan Thanh, Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Khanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, visited victims of the landslide at Khanh Le Pass (Nam Khanh Vinh Commune) and Khanh Son Pass (Cam An Commune). Nguyen Thanh Ha, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and representatives of relevant departments and agencies joined the delegation.

During the visits, Secretary Thanh offered words of encouragement and presented gifts on behalf of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee. He also urged medical staff to devote their full efforts to treatment. All patients have been provided with free medical care and medicines.

Earlier, on the night of November 16, two major landslides struck Khanh Le and Khanh Son Passes, resulting in seven deaths, one missing person, and numerous injuries. Khanh Hoa General Hospital has received and treated 20 injured individuals, four of whom have been discharged.
