Relief supplies promptly delivered to flood-hit areas

From November 18 to 20, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee mobilized supermarkets and transport units to distribute to heavily flooded communities, with a plan to provide 6,900 boxes of instant noodles, 9,700 snacks, together with dry food, milk and drinking water.

Up to now, 1,000 portions have been delivered to Tay Nha Trang Ward; 700 noodles, snacks, drinks, and milk to Bac Nha Trang Ward; more than 1,300 noodles, drinks, milk and 1,200 portions, dry food, and sausages to Nam Ninh Hoa, Hoa Thang, and Ninh Hoa communes and wards; and 400 noodles, cakes, drinks and milk to Khanh Vinh Commune.

In the southern area of ​​the province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee mobilized and provided Phuoc Hau Commune with 410 portions, milk, instant noodles, and drinks; Phan Rang Ward with 560 snacks, 200 boxes of noodles, milk and drinks.

The Provincial Women’s Union has prepared 400 meals for rescue forces and residents in Tay Nha Trang Ward, while the Provincial Youth Union has mobilized local youth to assist with rescue operations and the transport of relief supplies to flooded areas.

In addition, the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee has called on businesses to contribute thousands of essential goods and more than 100 tires to support ongoing relief efforts.

With flooding conditions still complicated, the Committee will continue delivering emergency aid to severely affected areas and assist evacuations in Tay Nha Trang, Dien Dien, Tay Khanh Vinh, Trung Khanh Vinh, Nam Khanh Vinh, Dien Khanh, and Dien Lac; allocate VND 25 billion from the Relief Fund, mobilized with support from the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front and Quang Ninh Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, to provide necessities, clothing, blankets, and house repairs, helping residents restore normal life after the natural disaster.
