Swift rescue of three Russian tourists trapped by floodwaters

At 6:20 p.m. on November 17, Khanh Hoa Public Security’s Department of Fire Prevention and Fighting and Rescue received an urgent call reporting that 3 Russian tourists, including Vyatkin Anton Evgenyevich (born in 1993), Vyatkina Olesya Sergeevna (born in 2000) and Tsvetkova Lyudmila Lvovna (born in 1963), were trapped by rising floodwaters near D30 Street, Tay Nha Trang Ward. One of them showed signs of serious exhaustion due to an underlying illness.

A rescue team was immediately dispatched to the scene and successfully brought all three tourists to safety. In addition to the rescue, officers promptly contacted the tourists’ relatives, coordinated with medical staff to provide first aid for Tsvetkova, and arranged transportation to a hotel in Nha Trang Ward. The tourists expressed heartfelt gratitude to the officers and soldiers for their swift and effective response.
