The "Zero-dong Market," recently organized by the Provincial Women's Union in collaboration with Phu Nhuan Jewelry Joint Stock Company, Highland and South Central Branch, took place at the Cultural and Social Office of Tay Nha Trang Ward. This initiative is one of the practical and meaningful activities supporting members, especially women, as well as residents across the communes and wards of Dien Dien, Dien Tho, Dien Lac, Tay Nha Trang, Bac Nha Trang, and Nam Nha Trang.

At the market, people received coupons that allowed them to collect essential goods free of charge, helping ease their living expenses during difficult times after the floods. Rice, spices, detergents, toothpaste, and other daily necessities were made available to shoppers. In addition, 500 gift packages worth nearly VND 300 million were distributed to residents, including many households living in rented accommodations.

In addition, the Women's Union of Nam Nha Trang Ward, in collaboration with the Provincial Tourism Association and Nha Trang Xua Restaurant, organized a "Free countryside market" to support flood-affected communities in the Thai Thong 1 and Thai Thong 2 residential groups. The market featured free stalls offering a wide range of essential goods such as rice, vegetables, fruits, spices, cooking oil, fish sauce, instant noodles, milk, cakes and beverages.

A total of 1,620 gift packages worth approximately VND 300 million were distributed at the event. Each package included five free shopping vouchers, 1 for rice and 4 for other daily necessities. These vouchers allowed families to choose the items that best suited their needs.

Several practical support activities

In early December 2025, the delegation of the Vietnam Women's Union came to Khanh Hoa and presented 40 gifts to members in the two wards of Bac Nha Trang and Nam Nha Trang. Each gift included VND1 million in cash and necessities. The delegation also visited 4 families of disadvantaged members and orphans and presented each family with VND 2 million and gifts.

At the families, Tran Lan Phuong, Permanent Vice-Chairperson of the Vietnam Women's Union, together with members of the delegation, encouraged households to make every effort to overcome difficulties and soon stabilize their lives. Braving the flooded trail, the delegation visited the impoverished family of Nguyen Thi Luan in Thai Thong 2 Residential Group, Nam Nha Trang Ward. Upon receiving support, Nguyen Thi Luan said, “In the most difficult times, the care and support from the Vietnam Women's Union has given me greater strength to rebuild my life after the natural disaster.”

The Provincial Women's Union at all levels has also mobilized resources, donating thousands of notebooks, pens, uniforms, milk, drinking water... to help students in flood-affected areas; donated clothes, coats, blankets, medicine and necessities to help people stabilize their lives. Officials and members also supported single-parent families and those in difficult circumstances with the post-flood clean-up to prevent epidemics. The support activities were worth more than VND 5.5 billion, promptly helping flood recovery.

In the coming time, the Union at all levels will continue to promote activities that care for the lives of members, women, and children. Beyond giving gifts, we will mobilize resources to provide livelihoods, helping women restore production and strengthen family economies. The union will also organize clean-up campaigns to contribute to a green, clean, and beautiful living environment for the community, according to Nguyen Hoang Van Ha, Vice-Chairperson of the Provincial Women's Union.
