Major projects set for groundbreaking and inauguration to mark 14th National Party Congress

Five major projects in Khanh Hoa Province are set for groundbreaking, inauguration, and technical openings to mark the 14th National Party Congress. Preparations are nearly complete, with everything ready for the grand event on December 19.

5 key projects registered for groundbreaking and inauguration

Five projects in the province have been registered for commencement, inauguration, and technical openings on this occasion. The first is the Cam Ranh Bay Coastal Urban Area Project, invested by a consortium of Vinhomes Joint Stock Company, Cam Ranh Investment Joint Stock Company, and VinES Energy Solutions Joint Stock Company. Located in Bac Cam Ranh Ward, the project has a total investment of more than VND 85,293 billion, covering over 1,254 hectares with 8,474 terraced houses, 10,732 villas, and 19,816 social housing units.

The second project is the Van Thang Resettlement Area – Phase 1 (registered for commencement) invested by the Provincial Development Project Management Board. Located in Van Thang and Tu Bong communes, it covers about 99.89 hectares with a total investment of more than VND 1,385 billion, including technical infrastructure, land leveling, road construction and ancillary technical facilities."

The third project is the Phuoc Thai 2 Solar Power Plant Project (registered for inauguration), invested by Vietnam Electricity Group in Phuoc Huu Commune with a total investment of VND 1,495 billion, with a capacity of 87MW/100MWp.

The fourth is the Component Project 1 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Construction Investment Project, Phase 1 (registered for technical opening) covering 32 kilometers located in the communes and wards of Ninh Hoa, Hoa Tri, Tay Ninh Hoa and Tan Dinh; with a total capital of VND 5,333 billion.

The fifth project (registered for inauguration) is the Song Cho Reservoir 1, invested by the Project Management Board 7 under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment. As the largest reservoir in the province, it has a capacity of about 109 million m³ and an elevation of up to 170 meters. The reservoir is equipped with two pipelines: one supplying the Ninh Hoa area, potentially irrigating 2,500 hectares and feeding the Cai River Ninh Hoa and Suoi Trau Reservoir; the other, nearly 42 km long, running through Khanh Vinh and Dien Khanh to deliver water to the Suoi Dau and Cam Ranh reservoirs.

Preparations basically completed

Preparations for the event have been basically completed. Investors are finalizing facilities, decorations, and technical systems, while coordinating with Khanh Hoa media to ensure synchronized programs at both provincial and central venues.

According to Pham Van Hoa, Deputy Director of the Provincial Project Management Board for Investment and Construction of Agricultural and Transportation Projects, preparations for the opening ceremony of the first 20km of Component Project 1 of the Khanh Hoa - Buon Ma Thuot Expressway Investment and Construction Project, Phase 1, have been basically completed.

The groundbreaking, inauguration and technical opening ceremonies for major projects to celebrate the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam in the province will be held on December 19 and broadcast live on television, according to Nguyen Van Vinh, Deputy Director of the Department of Construction.

The commencement, inauguration, and technical openings of projects in the province are of great significance, promising to drive local development and inspire emulation in celebration of the 14th National Party Congress, Tran Hoa Nam, Vice-Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, confirmed.
