The tropical depression barely moved, with forecasts showing it will continue to lose strength with wind level below 6 as it approaches Vietnam’s central coast from Gia Lai to Dak Lak provinces at 1 pm on December 2.

Due to the influence of the storm weakening into a tropical depression, the northwest seawaters in the central East Sea have strong winds of level 6; the area near the storm's eye has strong winds of level 7-8, gusts of level 9; waves 2-4m high; rough sea conditions. The coastal waters off Khanh Hoa Province are facing strong winds at level 6, gusts at levels 7–8, waves 2–4 meters high, and a turbulent sea.
