Piloting artificial intelligence education

Khanh Hoa Department of Education and Training has announced a plan to pilot artificial intelligence (AI) education in schools during the 2025–2026 academic year.

Based on the pilot framework for AI education recently issued by the Ministry of Education and Training, educational institutions may proactively adopt one or more organizational approaches, such as integrating AI into existing subjects, holding thematic workshops or clubs etc.

The Department of Education and Training required that the pilot program be implemented consistently across the province, while remaining proactive and flexible to local conditions and educational institutions. The program must be designed to align with learners’ needs and technological accessibility, and make effective use of available facilities and resources. Furthermore, localities and schools are expected to develop appropriate solutions to ensure that all learners, particularly those in economically and socially disadvantaged areas, have access to AI education.
