According to the certification, the project achieved 45% energy savings, 43% clean water savings, and a 34% reduction in carbon emissions from construction materials compared to conventional buildings. The estimated CO₂ emissions saved during operation are nearly 488 tons per year. The project, invested by the Khanh Hoa Provincial Development Project Management Board, is located at 1 Tran Phu Street, Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa Province.

To achieve EDGE Advanced certification, the project applied a range of technical solutions such as high-performance glass, insulated roofs and walls, efficient air conditioning, energy-saving lighting, demand-controlled ventilation, and on-site renewable energy. It also integrates water-saving measures and eco-friendly materials, reducing environmental impact and improving long-term efficiency.

This certification affirms the project’s construction quality and supports Khanh Hoa’s vision for green, modern, and sustainable urban development. In line with Vietnam’s green growth strategy and commitment to cutting emissions, internationally certified buildings play a vital role in boosting energy efficiency, protecting the environment, and creating healthier workplaces for civil servants and citizens.

To earn IFC’s EDGE certification, a project must achieve a minimum of 20% savings in energy, water, and embodied carbon in materials compared to a local baseline. Switzerland-based SGS is a reputable international provider of inspection, testing, verification and certification services.
