During the meeting, Lu Thanh Hai introduced Khanh Hoa’s strategic location, economic potential and strengths. Khanh Hoa boasts Vietnam’s longest coastline (nearly 500 km) with renowned bays such as Nha Trang, Cam Ranh, Van Phong, and Vinh Hy, along with Nui Chua National Park recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve. Beyond its natural beauty, the province features modern infrastructure, including a deep-water port, international airport, expressways and railways. The coastal urban axis from Nha Trang to Phan Rang, combined with world-class ecotourism, beach resorts, and sustainable agriculture, is driving multi-sectoral growth. Major energy projects, nuclear power, pumped-storage hydropower and LNG complexes, are positioning Khanh Hoa as a future national energy hub. The province is oriented toward becoming a centrally governed city with a smart, sustainable, and globally connected urban model.
