Industrial production value of Khanh Hoa Province in the past eight months of 2009 was reported to be VND8,784 billion, a 7% increase year-on-year.
Of the sum, the Central industrial production value was VND345 billion, increasing by 0.16%; local industrial production value: VND2,187 billion, 15.5% up; foreign invested sector’s: VND2,002 billion, 12.2% up; non-State sector’s : VND4,250 billion, 1.76% up and individual sector’s : VND356.7 billion, 2.8% up.
Some main products with considerable increases were ampoule medicine (2.3 million ampoules, 62.5% up), beer (9.7 million litres, 22.2% up), cigarette (494.1 million packs, 19.7% up), mineral water (25.9 million litres, 14.1% up), frozen seafood (36,410 tonnes, 12.8% up) and cement (51,000 tonnes, 3.2 times up).
