Dien khanh District has launched a bird flu vaccination campaign for fowls in the locality. Over 44,000 chickens and 1,000 ducks have been vaccinated . Fowls in farms are being vaccinated. There are twenty 500-2,000 chicken farms and five 2,000-3,000-chicken ones in Dien Khanh.
Free bird flu vaccination is given to household poultry. Poultry vaccination is considered as a key tool in the control of Avian Flu.
