In 2009, the industrial production value in Khanh Hoa Province is estimated at VND14,095 billion, a rise of 10% compared with last year.
The local State-owned sector is up 19.6%, followed by foreign-owned sector, up 4.15%, and central State-owned sector, up 3.55%. Some key products with a remarkable growth rate include cigarettes (755 packets, up 19.2%), frozen seafood ( 60,000 tons, up 7.3%), fish sauce (22.4 million liters, 29.6%), mineral water (37.4 million liters, 18.6%), etc.
New products in 2009 include White Horse-10 cigarettes/ packet, Sanest high grade moon cakes, lightweight bricks and so on.
