Held by Khanh Hoa Provincial Tourism Association, Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel and Yasaka-Saigon-Nha Trang International Tourism Vocational Center, Tet Cake Festival at Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel will take place on February 15 and 16 (2nd and 3rd day of the first month of the lunar calendar) to mark the Lunar New Year and 1,000th Thang Long – Hanoi Anniversary. 1,000 tet cakes including a record 35m tet cake will be cooked. The festival includes a cake-cutting ceremony, music and folk game shows.
Expenditure is estimated at VND850 million. The event is sponsored by Yasaka-Saigon-Nhatrang Hotel, SaigonTourist, Khanh Hoa Tourist Company, Cam Ranh International Airport, Kim Do Hotel (Ho Chi Minh City), Wild Beach Resort & Spa, Bai Tien Resort (Song Cau, Phu Yen), etc.
