Approved by the Ministry of Culture, Sport & Tourism and Khanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee, professors and scientists of Vietnam Institute of Archaeology, Archaeology Research Center (Institute of Sustainable Development of the Central Highlands) and Khanh Hoa Museum unearthed Hoa Diem relics in Cam Thinh Dong Commune on March 1-19. Many scientists and students major in archaeology, anthropology and environmental geography of Japan’s Waseda University also joined the event.

Many valuable bronze, glass and ceramic artifacts were discovered. The mission suggested that local authorities have measures to protect the relics as well as put them on show at Khanh Hoa Museum.
