The Nha Trang University’s Ship Institute UNINSHIP has just launched a composite ship named Hau Dien 01, the first ship in the series of clean water supplier ships for prawn breeder farms in Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan operating in the southern central coastal areas.
The 20.3 x 5.1 x 1.8m ship was made of composite with a capacity of 150Hp. It has a steering cabin, beds for crew, a kitchen, 4 holds containing water with the total capacity of 70m3, a pumping system with the capacity of 40m3/hour and a fuel system allowing the ship to run non-stop for 60 hours.
