Khanh Hoa Youth Union held a ceremony to launch Youth Month 2010 at Khanh Hoa Provincial Children’s House on February 28 with the participation of nearly 2,000 young people. Among representatives attending the ceremony was Le Thanh Quang, Standing Vice Secretary of the provincial Committee, Chairman of Khanh Hoa People’s Council.
With the theme on environmental protection, the campaign 2010 includes many practical activities to raise public awareness of environment preservation. After the ceremony, thousands of the youth joined a propaganda campaign and more than 500 took part in charity blood donation giving 230 units of blood.
