In the first quarter, 2010, Khanh Hoa Provincial Buddhism Social Charity spent VND360.5 million on social activities. The charity in cooperation with Khanh Hoa General Hospital offered medical care and cataract surgery to 20 poor patients in Van Ninh District, Khanh Hoa. It also gave gifts to the visually-impaired and poor patients.
Besides, the charity offered 100 gifts and 150 gifts to the needy in the communes of Vinh Luong and Phuoc Dong respectively. In addition, Khanh Hoa Provincial Buddhism Social Charity paid a visit and donated VND304 million to the disadvantaged in Khanh Hoa Province.
