According to the Provincial Youth Union, Youth Month in Khanh Hoa Province is very successful with a lot of meaningful activities and the active participation of youth unionists. The new thing of Youth Month this year is that the Provincial Youth Union has assigned tasks for every junior unit and managed them strictly. Therefore, Youth Month this year has strong changes in unionists’ awareness and creation.
Specifically, in the first week of the month, with the theme “Environment Protection”, Nha Trang Youth Union wiped advertisements on electric poles, partly cleaning the city while Van Ninh Youth Union sent nearly 6,000 unionists to hamlets and communes to propagandize residents to keep public places clean and tidy up streets in Van Gia Town and coastal areas in the district.

Beside this, Khanh Hoa’s young people continued promoting the volunteer spirit for the community such as visiting, giving presents and helping martyrs’ families, Vietnamese heroic mothers, revolutionary families and needy but studious children. Especially, in the week themed “Social Security”, 250 members of Cam Lam Youth Union associated with soldiers of M01 Naval Troop volunteered for social activities in Cam Hiep Bac Commune, Cam Lam District. They has repaired three houses of gratitude, given 330 kilograms of rice, 11 electric fans to ethnic minority households and families of social welfare and 19 schoolbags to poor but highly performing pupils, cut hair for residents and children, cleaned martyrs’ cemetery and cultural areas, dredged canals, collected garbage and many other activities.
Nguyen Thi Quynh Nga, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union said, “In Youth Month this year, junior units in towns and districts have set up specific actions for themselves and implement them effectively.”
This year, Youth Month in Khanh Hoa Province also combined with campaigns of the province and the country such as “Youth and Border – Islands”, “Youth with Traffic”, “Earth Hour” and “National Week of Occupational Safety and Health and Fire Prevention”.
