Ponagar Temple Festival, held annually from 21th to 23th of the third lunar month, is a big festival in the Southern Central region and the Highlands. It is in commemoration of Goddess Thien Y A Na who is the land mother of Vietnamese and Champa people in the Central.
The festival this year official opens on May 5, which falls on the 22nd of the third lunar month.
