In the first 6 months of 2010, Ninh Hoa Healthcare Department, Khanh Hoa gave medical care to 311,500 arrivals, accounting for 47.9% of the plan, a year-on -year increase of 14,2% with 9,794 inpatients, 70% of the plan.

The local relevant authorities have enhanced the inspection over food safety in food processing and producing locations and public education campaigns to prevent malaria, petechial fever and chicken-pox. Besides, 25,368 medical insurance cards have been granted to the poor, including 1,575 cards to beneficiaries of policy and the other 2,411 to ethnic minority people.
