Under the support of VinaCapital Fund and Ho Chi Minh City Poor Patient Sponsoring Association, 345 children in Khanh Hoa Province have been given heart surgery, said the provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs. The expenditure was nearly VND14 billion including VND8 billion financed by VinaCapital Fund and the rest funded by the State budget, Ho Chi Minh City Poor Patient Sponsoring Association and the public.
The province now has 44 cases who are recommended heart surgery but the fund for this charitable activity is out of money. These cardiac children are still waiting the help from the whole society.
