In July 2010, farmers in Khanh Vinh District began the summer-autumn crop 2010-2011 with an area of over 1,000ha, including 100ha of dry rice, 100 ha of corn, 90ha of sugarcanes, 300 ha of wheat, 285ha of vegetables, 15ha of perennial plants and 71ha of others, bringing the total cultivation area in 7 months of 2010 to 6,00ha.
Reportedly, under the local price support program, the farmers have been provided seedlings for 2,550 durian, 2,179 rambutan, 2,896 mango, 1,447 grapefruit and 3,423 jack-fruit trees.
