Many blood donors are members of Nha Trang City Women’s Association.
A blood donation campaign launched by the Nha Trang City Women’s Association has contributed greatly to healthy living blood donation, one good step towards healthy living for the whole community, especially since the Emergency Blood Donation Club was founded in June 2010.

Nha Trang City Women’s Association has closely cooperated with Khanh Hoa Provincial Red Cross in launching a blood donation campaign. Many members of Trang City Women’s Association have donated blood. They are willing to give blood as an act of charity to help others in need.

Nguyen Thi Ngoc Thuy, a member of Vinh Hoa Ward Women’s Association has given blood for 26 times. “I began to donate blood when I was a member of the Youth’s Association. Donating blood is a noble, selfless service. It gives us a feeling of joy and contentment.” Many other donors include Pham Thi Bach from Van Thanh Ward Women’s Association, Bui Thi My Dung from Vinh Hiep Commune Women’s Association, Nguyen Thi Thuy Tan, Vinh Thanh Commune Women’s Association, etc.

“The club has joined two emergency blood donation campaigns offering 10 units of blood each. It is a life-saving gift and We don’t hesitate to do the charity work.” Nguyen Thi Le Quyen, Vice Chief of the Emergency Blood Donation Club.

Besides, the club also has educated and propagandize about the importance of blood donation. Its members have urged people to take care of their health and donate flood for the sake of community. The club has offered an opportunity for its members to exchange their experience in health care and provide knowledge about blood donation and ways to build a happy marital life.

Ngo Trong Binh, President of Khanh Hoa Red Cross said, “The Emergency Blood Donation Club has done a good job, helping provide the safest blood possible for use wherever and whenever it is needed to save life.”
