On October 22, the People’s Committee of Dien Khanh District held a ceremony to announce Decision 854/QD-BXD dated September 22, 2010 by the Minister of Construction to recognize Dien Khanh Town as a fourth-class urban area.
Dien Khanh Town has an area of 3.95km2 with a population of 21,560. Getting 83.1/100 marks according to Decree 42/2009/ND-CP by the Government on ranking of urban areas, Dien Khanh Town is qualified for a fourth-class urban area.
