Aquaculture yield of Khanh Hoa Province till end October reached 19,000 tons, including 4,450 tons of prawns, 1,150 tons of lobsters, 4,300 tons of seaweed, 3,700 tons of sea fish, 5,400 tons of molluse and 2,300 breeding prawns.
The total area of aquaculture in the province now is about 9.829 hectares., including 1,076 hectares of fresh water, 5,068 hectares of brackish water and 3,685 hectares of coastal water. However, the past floods have done most of the aquaculture area serious damage. Therefore, aquaculture of the province is very hard to fulfill the year’s target.
