On his visit to flooded provinces in the Southern Central, President Nguyen Minh Triet came to Khanh Hoa Province on November 3.
President Triet visited Cam Thinh Dong Commune in Cam Ranh District and Vinh Trung Commune in Nha Trang, which were flooded seriously. The president consoled and gave presents to the residents here.

After that, President Triet along with Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai and Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Cao Duc Phat met leaders of Khanh Hoa Province to listen to the report on damages caused by floods in the province and the petition of the province. Accordingly, the president commissioned the Ministry of Health to provide decontaminant, the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development to supply rice seeds for the province and other ministries to support the province to repair damaged traffic works. The Central will immediately support 500 tons of rice and VND30 billion for the province to restore production and repair infrastructures of traffic and irrigation.
