The 11th National Party Congress has started this morning, January 1, 2011.
The event takes place from January 12-19 at My Dinh National Conference Centre, Hanoi with the participation of 1,377 delegates representing more than 3.6 million Party members from nearly 54,000 Party organizations nationwide.

The theme of the 11 th Congress is, “Continue enhancing the Party’s leadership capacity and combativeness, promoting the nation’s synergy, comprehensively boosting the renewal process, creating the fundamentals for Vietnam to become a modern industrial country by 2020”.
