Khanh Hoa Province now has about 20,000 hectares of Winter-Spring crop, including 19,300 hectares of food crops and 500 hectares of industrial ones. 7,000 hectares of rice crop has been harvested with a productivity of 30 quintals/hectare.
Because of the cold weather, insects only arose on tender rise seeding. Therefore, just-cultivated Winter – Spring rice got insect pests and diseases just little. Diseases on rice like leaf blight, rice borer, rice thrips, seed bug, etc. occured slightly.
