Khanh Hoa Province now has more than 60 major water supply works and thousands of small ones which ensure that 90% of the population in rural areas have clean water to use. 70% of houses in coastal and rural areas also have sanitary toilets.
During three years, from 2007 to 2010, Khanh Hoa Bank for Social Policies lent VND231.8 billion to 40,003 households to build sanitary water system and toilet. Accordingly, 36,781 sanitary water systems and 23,314 sanitary toilets have been built.
