After 35 years of construction and development, Nha Trang Port Company, Ltd. has achieved satisfactory results. The port handled 549,331 tones of cargo and received 5 cruise ships with 3,206 international arrivals in 2000; 1,333,446 tones of cargo and 21 cruise ships with 26,313 international arrivals in 2009. Nha Trang Port has been allowed by the Vietnam Marine Department to handle 20,000 DWT cargo vessels.
Besides, the company has also joined many local charity activities. The company has just been rewarded the 1st-grade Medal of Labor by the State President.
