On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Maximark Supermarket Nha Trang has offered a 10% discount from 16.00 to 18.00, given presents and held a cooking contest. Co.opMart Cam Ranh has also launched a 40% discount program for shoppers of fashion and beauty products, including shower cream, shampoo, souvenirs, etc.
Customers have also benefited from special offers at Phuong Nam Bookshop and many other fashion shops, including Lan Huong Shop (Yersin Street) with a 10% discount, Winny (Nguyen Trai Street) with Olay skin care cream and Winny pants offered to over VND400,000 bills.

In addition, nice gifts designed in pairs include key-rings, cups, etc. The price of postcards is up by 10% compared with last year due to soaring materials.
The custom of giving women flowers has still prevailed. Fresh flowers are available at VND100,000 -500,000/ bouquet. A pot of bonsai tree costs VND34,000-280,000. Many florists received orders a long time before the special day. Dinh Thi Mai Chinh, a seller at Tulip Trading & Service Company, said, “The price of flowers doesn’t increase much. We offer 10% discount for shoppers until March 10.”
