The event was attended by Bui Van Ga, Deputy Minister of Vietnam Education & Training and representatives of the Ministry of Education in southeast Asian countries, universities in Vietnam and some regional countries. The conference aimed to promote harmonization of higher education system focusing on E-Learning and Mobile learning, ASEAN Research Clusters, etc.
Founded in 1965, the Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organization (SEAMEO) has been in existence for about four decades with the fundamental goal of promoting cultural, and scientific and educational cooperation in the region.
